Speaking of Catholicism, my teacher told me this one story of a bishop he knew up in Angelfire, New Mexico that was discovered having an affair with some lady so he got sent to some seminary (i think in Wisconsin) to pay out penance for his WICKED SSSSSSSSIIIINS, so my teacher is working on a really badass carving based on it lol.
Said he was a really cool guy. The piece is sexay beautiful.

I really wish my camera had enough battery to take a picture of my cat while I was carving omg.
He was sitting by my desk dozing off while little chunks of mahogany were gently hitting him in the face—
His only response was an occasional flick of the ear while shavings accumulated around him god it was so cute.
That carving session was awesome.
I got that whole right curve done (WITHOUT CRACKING IT). I COULD have it ready for sanding by tomorrow YEEEEE but I’m not betting on it.
